The Kroisos in Frankfurt/Cologne 2009

Well ... let’s start with a few words to the organization before the gigs came up: Like you know I did this shit one year ago, as well. This fact seems to let the people think I can do it all alone and it is so easy to handle these gigs out. But all those are wrong!!! I have to mention that it was much more difficult this time. Last year I had so many helping hands, this time I had to do almost everything myself and also had hardly contacts to the Kroisos-guys what made it even harder.  All in once. We made it and first part went well. Second part will be even more difficult especially from financial part. And I am not really happy or optimistic, when I think about Dresden and Poland. Please come to Dresden!!! We need people there. Lot’s of people because we have space for 700 people and I don’t want Kroisos to play there infront of 50. That would be frustration.  Lately new gig has been added in Linz with Superpursuitmode, what wasn’t organized from me. So now the first-planned four-country-tournament with Finland, Germany, Austria and Poland is completed. That’s just great! Even I had not much help, I have to thank a few girls. In first place all the once who made PR in the gigcities for me, because they are all far away from my place. And to Eva who made 100.000 different placats and changed them for me everytime the plans and entrance has been changed. Thanks to the photographers and to Sibylla and Dennis.  Ok – let’s start! Frankfurt was  .... I don’t know. Let’s call it a small desaster. In German I would say an evening with Pleiten, Pech und Pannen.  Some things, what went wrong: The club-owner wasn’t there and the AZUBI changed all the things me and wolf had decided. So suddenly we had to stop earlier and begin earlier. Kroisos couldn’t play extra songs and the support-bands had just short times to play. Leech also changed some things and did like I haven’t organized anything, that’s nonsense. I had organized everything pretty well, just the guys and the Azubi destroyed it. And I was pissed about that, I can tell you! After the gig I spoke to the clubmanager and it was like I knew it was, he didn’t ever said to the Azubi to change the details, we had organized. Especially not the schedule. InConfusion was drunk and destroyed their own good music with this shit. Is this called professional? Leech had much too loud sound so that you couldn’t understand textes or anything.-         Kroisos’ merchandise didn’t arrive, so we hadn’t the promised new CD at the gigs.-         Kroisos didn’t play well and had no times for extra songs. They were unprepared and played everyday in second row even it is a song for the end, when the mood is up ... Ville had a horrible cap on his head ;) So, you can imagine that many girls went out the door and didn’t saw the gig they had waited for so long. Me either, especially because the things what went wrong came back to me, but I say: It’s not my fault that it went out like this. I can just say, I will never work with bands again, what act such unprofessional and afterwards act like I did a bad job... I think I should laugh about it! In the other part, there were also things, what went quite well. Kroisos was there in time, much earlier than I thought-         We had merchandise from fanclub there-         There were 88 ppl in the house, what is not too bad for the fact that most ppl from last year came from NRW and didn’t appear this time in Frankfurt, because they had there own gig the next day. 20 girls of fanclub were there and we had quite much fun and changed this desaster into our own party. And we celebrated Kroisos-Gig as if it would have been just great. So it happened that our evening and night really were funny at last. There was a Hautamäki-noses-placat what made us all grin and what had the same comic-jussi on it, like in Garmisch. One big positive fact we want to thank Ville for. After the little princess was sorted out in Kuopio, he played with her on this evening. We all liked that fact. It pinked up the evening and made the show more to a real Kroisos-night. The fact that the CD’s wasn’t there made us be sure that it is really Kroisos day, just to mention the name again, the CD had first: “Coming soon” Isn’t that perfect name? :-D After all. 10 of us fanclub girls stayed awake all night long, because we had no place to sleep. And than 8 of us went to Cologne. We all can just say: that has been perfect decision. Because in Cologne everything was completely different! This gigs was simply great! Only 2 small things what wasn’t such perfect. Leech wasn’t there in time, even they transport the backline, so we had to wait with the soundcheck.The merch was still not there.... But that we knew before. The CD will be available in internet after 20th of May and also in fanclub as soon as the paket will shown up again.    Okay, let’s tell you about the gig in Cologne.   I said many bad words about Leech already, but I also have to mention, that they really played good that evening and the sound was great. So thanks for this. The second band had the horrible long name “What happened to Roy G. Biv” I just call them Roy G. Biv... This music split the Kroisos-crew into two parts. 1 part wanted to have CD of the guys and one part wanted to run away. :-D I don’t know. I think they did their job quite well. They brought in some spectatours, they played for 0 cent and I also think they did great show, even it wasn’t music for a Kroisos-gig. Normally I think it would have been a band for my little crazy brother and his friends. A concert to make pogo and black eyes ;) But I am satisfied with the choice and I am thankful that they played.   Another great thing was the club’s organization. They were strict and knew exactly what they want and they made good soundcheck. Great! I surely would play in this club again, even it was HOT!!!! We sold lot’s of merchandise, t-shirts and even still about 10 ep’s. So that was fine, too. Thanks to Ulla and Caro for managing this perfectly again. The atmosphere in the club was great. Many girls and boys were dancing and singing. The Kroisos played quite well. New sound is a bit louder and more rock’n roll than pop. I love the rocking version of light up my way. But somehow the ballads are missing.They also did some stupid jokes and thanks to santa claus Caro, who organized water and towels for the band, who almost died under the spotlight. But come on, it wasn’t as hot as in Kiza, was it? So ... ;) After the show we made party in the club. Just few people stayed, but the bands did and took time for the fans. Thanks! Great and big applause for the birthday act and the video messages to the fans. The Kroisos is really a fan-band and that’s amazing! We had fun rest of the night and next morning still. But let me tell you. Our weekend didn’t end with a happy end, because one car of us fanclub-girls were empty. Everything gone: Navi, CD’s, map, backpack. :( Luckily we were together and stand together. So I am sure even she is thinking back with a smile to this weekend. I had great time and forgot about the macrocosm 48 hours, that was fantastic. Thanks to the fanclub-girls for the fun and to the bands for the show in Cologne. Thanks to Kroisos for the short bandmeeting in Cologne after Frankfurt. That has been important to me, to see that we still cooperate and the mail helped to take everything easier. Thanks to the club in Cologne and also to Wolf, who took his time to discuss with me and read all the angry mails he got after Frankfurt evening from the fans. He really took them by heart. I know, because he wrote me mail after he read all your letters.  I am glad that you always say, what you think, girls. That’s important point to work on better and better. I am sure that Dresden will be my very last Kroisos-concert. I hope to see many of you girls there to say goodbye. And Olli, I want to see a special act from you. Can you hear me? ;) Two more numbers. -         In Cologne we had been 142 people who payed and around 20 others. But because the club is for about 200 people it didn’t look soooo full.
