On the highway to hell – Kroisos-gig in warsaw

New times were coming up in microcosm. Kroisos tried to conquer Poland. Well I am not sure if they really made it, maybe Katowice ... but Warsaw? But let me tell you about the second part pf coming soon tour 2009 in a short version. Me and four other fanclub-members from Germany went on tour with the finnish chaos-guys from Kroisos mid of June 2009. On board of this trip also the two bands Leech and InConfusion.  First gig should take part in maintown of Poland – Warsaw. A big city with enormous street-signs and driver-limits between 90 and 80 km/h. Club’s name was DobraKarma and it was in a street what has a sister on the other side of the city, just with one “a” more included. But well, we all find the club after traveling 8-19 ½ hours.  Noone in the club was speaking english quite well, and I didn’t know that one of the Leech guys can speak polish, because he was born there. But well in the preparing-time I had my Monika right beside my side who made 100 translations for me and these gigs possible at least. Thanks a lot.  Club was quite nice and boys were playing open air. Leech and InConfuison rocked the stage and some girls with black shirts and pink shiny shoes were dancing. When Kroisos started to play, I was shocked. I would like not to mention this in here, because it is real anti-pr against Kroisos. But I don’t wanna tell stories, what are not true. So ... the gig was horrible!!! Ville’s voice was so bad that I don’t really have words for it. I spoke with Jake and the Soundcheck-guy but nothing helped. After Panda eyes I was running away. Really. I was running through the streets of this foreign city for about 15 minutes till I returned. I spoke with Leech guys and they sad: “It will be better, first gig is always worst”. Nice to hear, but as “manager” of this gig I felt sorry for the girls who came and payed and was ashamed about the guys, who made such a lousy music. It was reminding me on Frankfurt ... with the difference that this time the prebands played great and the organization wasn’t bad. Just Kroisos made worst gig ever... and I wasn’t able to understand WHY???Lucky me Dirk Thiele wasn’t there, otherwise he would has had even more reasons to make stupid jokes about The Kroisos everytime he sees Jussi somewhere. But the guys from polish media also looked quite shoked while filming the boys with their cameras. 

Half of the people left the gig earlier and that was so sad to see and recognize. Well ... that’s enough about this gig I would say, let’s turn to better ones.

We wowowowowonder – in Katowice about some things 

Next day – on 12^th of June 2009 – next gig was coming up. This time in Katowice. I had to get aware that I lost my camera and was quite pissed about that fact, and I still am. But well other guy had camera, when we arrived in Katowice Club Cogitatur. And this guy was from TVS. First question he had was: “Are you wife of Jussi Hautamäki?” That was first time I wondered. I laughed and swore that I am not, “so the daughter?”, he asked next and I laughed even harder. After I explained that I am not relative to the guys and just organized the concerts I had to make a small interview with the journalist, because Kroisos wasn’t there yet. After me a polish fan also mad interview and because I got SMS of the boys that they will come later I’ve sent the media-guys to their hotel. Later boys were playing for the press on stage and it sounded great, even for me the sound was much too loud. Hell, I was death as child already and I surely don’t wanna feel this again ever in my life. So I had to leave the gig two times because my ears were bursting. But the concert itself was fucking great and the soundsytem of the club was so impressing.  InConfusion and Leech played really good again and Leech was so happy to play here in Poland. There were just about 50 girls on the gig, but I can tell you, they rocked the place. They made party at the whole concert and with all three bands. I really loved to see that.  Ville was singing great today and I again knew why I am fan of those kroisos-guys. They are extraordinaire and their music is cool. It was real rocking day. They played different songs than in Warsaw and in new combination. I liked that very much, so it wasn’t boring at all. And we made party, like the polish girls. I wanna say “thank you” to the little crowd in the big nice club. You were great audience, even you were too small group. Later when we made the money-stuff, me and the clubowner, I realized that he made minus with our gig, too. But he wasn’t angry, no ... he said he really liked the music and concert-evening, especially Leech and that he wishes us good luck for the next steps forwards. Thanks a lot!!! Tomek was real nice guy: he organized a very cheap but good hotel for me and my two friends and tried to help me to get my camera back, but till now we didn’t succeeded.
